DuelMate ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").
We collect the following information when you create an account and use DuelMate: • Email address (used for authentication via Google or email/password) • Username (chosen by you, visible to other users) • Avatar/profile picture (optional, uploaded by you) • Game IDs (e.g. MTG Arena ID, Hearthstone BattleTag — entered by you) • Deck information (deck names and formats you add to your profile) • Language preferences • Reviews and ratings you submit about other players • Discord username (optional) • Availability status (online/offline toggle)
We use the information we collect to: • Create and manage your account • Display your profile to other users browsing for opponents • Enable players to find suitable testing partners • Process payments for Premium subscriptions (via Lemon Squeezy) • Send in-app notifications (e.g. when someone reviews you or copies your game ID) • Improve and maintain the Service
Your profile information (username, avatar, game IDs, decks, reviews) is public by design — the purpose of DuelMate is to connect players. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We use the following third-party services: • Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure • Lemon Squeezy — payment processing for Premium subscriptions • DiceBear — generated avatars for users without a profile picture
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. Upon deletion, your profile, decks, and reviews will be permanently removed from our systems.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and secure authentication tokens. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
DuelMate is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you • Request correction of inaccurate data • Request deletion of your account and data • Object to or restrict processing of your data To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address below.
